Area, of 30 acres in. Block I, Waitakere Survey District, applicant A. P. Herring.— Resolved to grant an Occupation ILi cense to Mr A. P. Herring, at an annual rental of 10/-. Section 127, Township of Hector, area 1 rood 15 perches, applicant S. R'. Johnston. — Resolved to grant an Occupation License at an annual rental of 10/-. Transfers: —Part Section 65, Town of Westport, area 20 perches, L. I. Young to W. E. Phipps.—Transfer approved. Section 101, Block XV, Mokihinui Survey District, area 160 acres, G. H. Mulholland to T. C. and J. Q. McGhie. —Transfer approved. Application to Cut Firewood. —SecK'< Block HI, Motnekn District, area 5 acres, applicant, W. liarrow. —Resolved to cancel permit. Application for Timber-Cutting license. —Section 7, Block VIII, Maruia Survey District, area 460 a 2r 29p, applicant R. J. Gibson. —Application declined.
Exchange of Tenure. —Section 51, Block XI, Mawheraiti Survey District, from P. L. to Renewable Lease, J. W. Teasdale. —Resolved to approve of exchange of tenure to Renewable Lease at a capital value of £43/15/-. Sections 38 and 39, Block XIV, Wai-iti S.D. From O. R. P. to* Renewable Lease. D. H. Thomas.—Resolved to fix the capital value at £llO.

Section 2, Block 11, Mawheraiti Survey District. Mrs L. Cockerill. —Resolved to grant a renewal of P.L. 317 at an annual rental of £7/12/0.
Cancellations: Sections 1173-1178, Town of Reefton, area 1 acre 2 rds, 12 pchs, Win. Burnett. —Resolved to cancel license as‘at 31.12.34. Section 13, Sq. 12 District of Wainui, W. Delaney.—Resolved to cancel permit. Expenditure of Thirds: —The Takaka County Council forwarded proposals for the expenditure of thirds amounting to £B/7/10 accrued to 31.3.34. —Approved. The Conservator of State Forests, Nelson, forwarded proposals by Local Bodies as under for the expenditure of fifths and tenths of revenue from State Forests. —Buller County Council 1.7.34 —30.9.34 £l6 13/1; Inangahua County Council period 1.7.34—30.9.34, £B9/19/6; Collingwood County Council, period 1.7.34 —30.9.34, 12/7. —Approved. The Board also dealt with 21 items ‘in committee.’
