Gringo-ire’s accusations included ones that Bony was an accomplice of Stavisky,, that be had confused the clues as to the death of Judge Prince, that he tampered with Stavisky’s cheque counterfoils, and that, he forged one in order to compromise a political opponent. . Bony, has been arrested. He is charged with using his official influence to obtain’an expensive suit and an overcoat from a tailor, named Volvc-rg, to whom he promise 1 protection against expulsion orders. It is generally believed that this charge merely- an excuse for hold-
ing Bony, pending investigations into the accusal - 'on s made against, him during his libel charge.
