KUMARA NOTES
[OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Mr C. Rochford has entered the Westland Hospital, where he will undergo a slight operation. Mr John Stewart, who has been on a visit to Christchurch, has returned. Mis Duff Fife, of Sydney, is expected to arrive in Kumar a early next week. Mrs W. J. Inglis, who has been on a holiday to Christchurch, has returned. Air A. B. Spiers returned from Christchurch on Thursday. A concert in aid of the Women’s Institute Fund took place in the Memorial Hall, last evening. There was a good attendance. The various items o.i the programme were well received.
