SYDNEY WOOL SALE SYDNEY, November 15. At to-day’s wool sales, there were 11,229 bales offered, while 9,254 were sold. There also were 2,340 bales privately sold. Good fleece and skirtings were again selling in the buyer’s favour. All other descriptions remained firm at the ftevious day’s rates. Greasy merino made 174 pence. COPPER PRODUCTION. Tho “Financial News” says: Following negotiations between the of copper companies, proposals have been formulated for the establishment of a Copper Shareholders’ Association for the purpose of co-operatively remedying the world over-production. RUGBY, November 15. There were further big movements in the quotation of gilt edged securities on the Stock Market to-day. Old Consols 2J per cents, reached 921, -the highest for 30 years, War Loan 3£ per cent, touched 109 1-8. The markets closed with prices well under the best, with War Loan 108 3-8 and Consols 911. MATAKI DIVIDEND. AUCKLAND, November 15. The directors of Mataki Gold Dredging, Limited, which is operating near Murchison, have declared a second interim dividend of one penny a share. The capital of the company is £35,000 in shares of 2/- each.
