EVENTS AT PARK. _Four cycle races, and a girls’ relay race were conducted by the Grey-mouth-Uhited Cycling Club at Victoria Park last evening, before an improved attendance. The racing was keen and Interesting, and finishes -were good. Results:—• Quarter-mile .Cycle: D. Johnston 40yds 1, J. Daniels 10yds 2, P. Duffy scr. 3. Also competed: J. Larking 15, L. Hogarth 20, D. Also competed: D. Morland scr., J. Archer 40, M. Malone 45, I. Baker 90, G. Fairhall 90. Won by three lengths, a wheel. Time 1.10 2-5.
