Great Parrish is being kept going at Mangere, and this pacer will most likely race at the Auckland meeting in October. Having his first race for a long time, when he competed in the Massey Memorial at the recent Auck-
land meeting, Great Parrish failed to reveal his true form owing to the heavy state of the track, but the first time he strikes a firm track he is likely to make amends for the failure, as he is very speedy at his best.
