SWEEPSTAKE WINNERS
HOPE MATERIALISES [PEB PBEBB ASSOCIATION.] AUCKLAND, September 13. N.Z. subscribers have won first and third prizes in the £12,000 consultation sweepstake drawn on Wedesday in Hobart, under the Government’s supervision, according to a private advice received in Auckland. The ticket which won the first prize of £12,000 was number 29,060. It is held in the name of the “Hopeful Syndicate,” care of A. W. 11. Roslyn, Dunedin. The winner of the third prize, oi £1,250, was “G.T.” of Freeman’s Bay, Auckland, whose ticket, was number 100,078. HARBOUR BOARD EMPLOYEES DUNEDIN, September 13. The first prize in the latest Tattersails Consultation has been won by two Dunedin men, Mr. A. W. Henderson and Mr. A. Cranshaw. They are employees of the Otago Ilarboui Board. The “Hopeful Syndicate under which name they have been sending for tickets, was commenced six months ago, the decision being made on the day of the Harbour Board picnic last March.
