OPERA HOUSE, TO-NIGHT. The world-renowned Blarney Stone in its quaint setting is shown in “Tom Walls’ film, which derives its name from this stone which is almost an “institution” to the Emerald Isle. The beautiful Anne . Grey plays opposite Tom Walls in “The Blarney Stone,” to be screened to-night, Saturday’s matinee and evening, the action of which is set in an Irish district not twenty miles from Cork and in London. The story concerns Tim Fitzgerald (Tom Walls), who has more than the ordinary share of Irish charm and luck, owing to the fact that his parents took him, as quite a small child, to kiss the famous Blarney Stone; and A. R. Rawlinson has developed this material on comic and dramatic lines. The management take great pleasure in presenting to patrons to-night and Saturday, matinee and night, for the first time, the all-colour Silly Symphony cartoon, ‘ Three Little Pigs.” This is Walt Disney’s crowning achievement, and all picture-lovers are urged to see this most remarkable cartoon, which you can enjoy again and again. At Blackball to-night “Melody Cruise” will be shown; and at Waiuta, “The Secret of the Blue Room.”

SHANGHAI GARDEN. To complete the elaborate setting of the Shanghai Garden decorations at the Town Hall to-morrow afternoon and evening, Dr. Fu Man Chau” and attendants will be garbed in their Oriental costumes. In addition to the unique decorations the numerous stalls, side shows and other classes of entertainment will be an added attraction. The Municipal Band will rcndei’ selections at the evening session. The Mayor (Mr J. W. Greenslade) will open the function at 2.30. This is the final of the Holy Trinity Church Carnival.
