In the amateur athletic championships, at White City Lovelock was second in his heat of one mile. The winner’s time was 4.24. The finals will be decided to-morrow.
HOCKEY.
WELLINGTON, July 13.
In the annual hockey match here this afternoon, Wanganui Technical College defeated Wellington Technical College by six goals to nil, the scorers being Byers (4), Ransom and Revell.
