All sorts of luck may be reaped by buying a lottery ticket. In the Brisbane Police Court on June 28 a man was convicted of thefts of dental instruments that were taken from a dental surgery. He was traced by the police through the finding on the dentist’s promises of a ticket in the Golden Casket which bore the mail’s name. While he was ransacking the premises I lie ticket evidently fell from his pocket, and the police had no difficulty in obtaining his address from the vendor of the ticket. The man was arrested shortly after the discovery of the burglary, and all the stolen goods were received.
