ST. JOHN’S SHOW 'The annual St. John's chrysanthemum show, held in the St. John’s Hall, yesterday afternoon, proved highly successful, there being a large attendance, and all the stalls being well patronised. Opening the show, Rev. II R. Fell welcomed the visitors, thanking them and all exhibitors for their patronage, and congratulating the com mittee, and especially the secretary, Mrs. O. McLean, on the successful organisation of the function. Special prizes, additional to those published, yesterday, were: — Most, points in Domestic Section: Miss F. Mackenzie. Collection of Vegetables: Mr. G. Wilson. Decorated Table: Miss N. Tennent. Most points in Decorative Section (three Shows in year). Miss N. Tennent (twice in succession).
