WALK OFF AT HALF TIME. Because they were losing by 11 goals to nil seven players of the Scarborough. North Cliff football team walked off the ground at half-lime in their match with Filey lasi, month and refused to play any more. Tho referee blew his whistle. Then one said: ‘‘l’m fed up. Pm finished with football. lam going to sell by boots and everything.” The secretary, Mr. H. Dwyer, appealed to the members of the team. It made no difference. They went on with their dressing. Mr. Dwyer said inter: “I am afraid this means the end of the club, for no doubt we shall be suspended.”
