While adjusting a tyre on a splitrim at Brown’s Vulcanising Depot, Mackay Street, yesterday, Mr. Edgar Brown suffered a severe injury to the third finger of his left,hand*.. Hewas attended by Drs. Moore and Bird at Sister Cullen’s Private Hospital,- but it was found necessary to amputate the finger to-day. '
