[BY CABLE —PRESS ASSN. —COPYBIGHT.]

WASHINGTON, November 11. The discussions of President Roosevelt, Senator Hull, and M. Maxim Litvinoff, on the subject of United States recognition of the Soviet have been prolonged, due to America’s insistence on fairly substantial assurances from the Soviet that the claims accumulated by the Americans against the Moscow Government during the past sixteen years shall be settled.
