BLENHEIM OFFICE TRAGEDY

BLENHEIM, November 7.

Hugh Wedde, about 22, employed as a ledger clerk in Wright Stephenson’s office was found dead in the firm’s strongroom this afternoon, with a rifle beside him.

The only other person in the office at the time, a typist, Miss Marple, who heard the shot, made the tragic discovery.

Deceased appeared to be in the best ( of spirits at the office this morning.
