In the final for the Australian Football League premiership, South Melbourne were the winners, defeating Richmond in the final by 71 points to 29 points. FEDERAL BUDGET. CANBERRA, October 1. The Sydney Sun’s correspondent says: The Federal Government will anonunce considerable tax reductions with the budget on Wednesday.
