BADMINTON
HOKITIKA v.'GREYMOUTH. * The return match between St. John’s, Greymouth, and Hokitika clubs, took place last evening in St. Andrew’s Hall, Hokitika, which is an ideal place for Badminton, except that the court, is a little short. This handicapped some of the Greymouth players, who are irsed to the full-sized court. Hokitika won, the scores being Hokitika 9, St. John’s 3. The games were keenly contested, in a friendly spirit. Supper was supplied by the Hokitika ladies. The President of the Hokitika Club welcomed the Greymouth players, and hoped they would enjoy their visit. 1 He said that as more clubs were formed on the Coast a representative team might be able to travel to some of the larger centres.
