A case was filed to-day, at the Criminal Court which accused Gerardo Machado, the deposed President, and five of associates, of the “misappropriation of public funds, frauds, falsities, swindles, homicides, murders, and the use of firearms against certain persons.” Dr Jose de la Vega, a lawyer, filed the charges against Machado. The accusation set forth that plans for committing crimes were .allegedly laid in the Presidential palace.

Those accused with Machado are his former - Secretary of the Treasury, his former Secretary of State, his former Secretary of the Interior, his former Chief of Police, Ainclart. and his former Chief of the Central District.
