REEFTON NOTES
[OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT.] REEFTON, May 13. Mrs. Davidson of Wellington, who has been residing with her daughter, Mrs. K. Newcombe, of Reefton, was on Thursday taken seriously ill, being removed to the hospital. Her condition is causing her relatives concern. The members of Wesley Church, Reefton, entertained Miss E. Langley and Mr. Len Watson last evening in Wesley Hall. Rev. C. Duncan, Pastor of the Church, occupied the chair and an enjoyable musical programme was presented. Mr. Duncan referred to the forthcoming marriage of Miss Langley and Mr. Watson, and in wishing them long life, health and happiness, presented them with a token of esteem. All departments of church work had combined to remember Miss Langley, who though only moving a short distance away would find her church work curtailed. Mr. Watson suitably responded on behalf of Miss Langley. Supper was served by the ladies.
