Miss D. McKay left to-day. on a Visit to Christchurch.
Miss E. Souter left to-day, on return to Christchurch.
Mr John Hopkins left to-day, on re turn to Wellington.
Mr E. Wisdom left, this morning, for Christchurch, en route to Seddon, on j-eturn.
Major Middlemas. of the Salvation Army, returned to-day to Christchurch.
Mr A. Li. Smith, Stationmaster at Greymouth, left last evening, for Christchurch.
Mr Harold Prescott will leave next Thursday for Wellington, to sing for the Wellington Choral Society.
Mr. N. Shallcrass will leave Greymouth on Monday for Christchurch, where he is to be married to Miss M. Spalding, also of Greymouth.
The estate of Mr J. A. Johnstone, of Dunedin, who died on Monday, has been sworn for probate purposes at under £200,000. —Press Assn.
A cablegram from Los Angeles stated that Joan Crawford had been granted a divorce from Douglas Fairbanks Junr.
Nurse P. M. Samways, of the Runanga Dental Clinic, will assist at the Greymouth Clinic, pending a permanent appointment by the Department, to the position rendered vacant by the resignation of‘Miss E. James.
