OPERA HOUSE—TO-NIGHT. “The Washington Masquerade,” with Lionel Barrymore in a dominant role as a senator who falls victim to a woman’s wiles, is the attraction to be screened to-night, Saturday, matinee and evening. The first chapter of a new serial, entitled, “Battling With Buffalo Bill” will be shown at Saturday’s matinee. BLACKBALL—TO-NIGHT. “Disorderly Conduct” will be shown at Blackball to-night. WALLSEND—TO-NIGHT. “Huddle” will be screened at Wallsend to-night. SCHAEF’S HALL. The weekly dance will be held in Schaef’s Hall to-morrow. The Gaiety Orchestra will supply first-class music for old-time dancing, and. all are assured of a hearty welcome. WATERSIDERS’ PICNIC. A baby show and an excellent sports programme should materially assist towards making the Greymouth Watersiders’ annual picnic at the Omoto Racecourse to-morrow, a great success. Ice cream and soft d'rinks will be provided for the kiddies, whilst hot water, tea, milk and sugar will be supplied free. The train fares are within the reach of all, and it is anticipated that the outing will be one of the largest of its kind for the 193.3 season. ROTOMANU SOCIAL On the occasion of their recent marriage, Mr and Mrs Alex. Graham were tendered a welcome-home dance in the Rotomanu Hall on Saturday night last. Music was supplied by Mr Noel Nester, of Kotuku, which was' appreciated by the large attendance.
