Mystery surrounds a murderous attack that was made on Hardy Govett. aged 18. a wireless apprentice, who died to-day as the result of terrible head injuries. It is believed that the injuries were inflicted at his home overnight at Bellevue Hill. LATER. The police to-night, arrested the father, Nathaniel Govett, 81, retired schoolteacher, on a charge of murdering Hardy Govett, who it is understood, was entitled to a considerable sum, when he became 21, under his mother’s will.
