OPERA HOUSE—TO-NIGHT.

“Viennese Nights,” nights of love, nights of regrets, nights when everything was forgotten in a burning kiss, nights of glorious adventure in a city where romance is born, only to die, will be screened to-night, Monday and Tuesday. Vivienne Segal, Walter Pidgeon, Alexander Gray, Jean Hersholt, Bert Roach, Louise Fazenda, Alice Day, June Purcell, and Milton Douglas are featured. “The Sea God” heads an all-talkie programme to be presented Sunday night. .

BLACKBALL TO-NIGHT. •

“Merely Mary Ann” will be screened at Blackball to-night, and two features “Conquering Horde,” and “Women Love Once” at Sunday s screening.

RUNANGA TO-NIGHT.

• “Riders of the Purple Sage” will be screened at Runanga to-night.

WALLSEND SUNDAY.

“Social Errors” and “I Take This Woman,” will be screened at Wallsend Sunday.

DANCE AT BLACKBALL.

The Blackball Druids held their annual ball in the Miners’ Hall last evening, in aid of the Grey River Hospital. There was a large attendance. The hall was tastefully decorated with multi-coloured streamers ,and excellent music was supplied by Steel’s Orchestra. Novelty d’ances were run. The winners of the waltzing competition were Mr G.
