In the semi-final of the German tennis championships, Menzel defeated Crawford, 6/4, '6/4,' 6/4. The Australians, Houman, Sproule, and Clemenger, were eliminated in the earlier rounds.
In the semi-final, Camm defeated Boussus 7/5, f>/2 t 6/3.
U.S.A. TOURNAMENTNEW YORK, August 12. . At Rye, in the quarter finals, Elbert Lwis (Los Angeles) defeated Coen 6/4, 674 Clifford Sutter (New Orleans) defeated Olliff, 6/3, 2/6, 6/2.
