The Wellington Soccer Management Committee, to-night, accepted the ' terms of the Auckland Association for I an Auckland team to play at Welling-, i lean on August 13, on their return from Dunedin. SCHOOLS TOURNAMENT In connection with the forthcoming South Island Tournament commencing in Greymouth on August 22, the following senior' teams have been selected. The selection is by no means final and alterations to the teams may be made as further practices take place. A Team: Goalkeeper: Wilson (C); backs: Rae (B), Skeats (C). Halves: Vaughan (C), Roche (M), McHugh! (G). Forwards: Blance (T), Jackson (R), Simpson (R), Culling (G), Brown (C). , „ A Tearfi: Goal, Knapp; Backs: Hambley, Dalziell, Halves: Beams Shackley, Groufsky. Forwards:Rowe, Shukes, Airey, Eatwell, Maskill. / A trial game for the juniors will be held on the Cobden Recreation Ground on Saturday morning next when the following teams will take the field: — Possibles: Goal, McLean; Backs, N. King, Hoggarth. Halves: Laing, W. King, Balderstone. Forwards: R. Inglis, Buckman, Mountford, Colville, Forshaw. Probables: Goal, Dando. Backs: Mulqueen, Little. Halves: Pascoe, McMaster, Paton. Forwards: Coppersmith. Airns, Hassan; Meikle, Reid. The folowing boys will also be tried out: Bennett (T), W. Kennedy (R), J. Roche (M), Ogilvie, (M), Hopkins (GJ, Blake (M), F. Smith (C), A. Eatwell CO. ' \ ‘ . .. Considerable difficulty is being experienced in finding billets for the boys of the visiting teams. Between fifty and sixty boys from Otago and Canterbury will be coming to Greymouth and if any resident is able to billet one (or more) boys, these names should be handed in to the headmaster of the nearest school.
