HOW TO SELL. DUNDEE MERCHANT’S ADVICE. Speaking at a luncheon in Dundee a few months ago, Mr. M. M. Henderson, of the Argus Watch Company, gave some practical selling advice to business men. “Advertise daily and twice daily,” said Mr. Henderson, “and your goods will sell. It is no use advertising today and not appearing in the press again for the next six months.”
In one day, reported Mr. Henderson, his firm had sold in Dundee one hundred watches. “That was due,” he declared, “to persistent advertising.”
