WAIUTA NOTES
[OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Mrs Ward, who has been visiting Greymouth, has returned. Miss V. Cooper (Greymouth) was a visitor to Waiuta during the week. Mr Ivan Marelich, who has been visiting Hokitika, has returned. There was no senior or junior League football played last week-end owing to the inclemency of the weather, but the Rugby seniors journeyed to Reefton, where they were beaten by Waratahs by fifteen points to nil. The Waiuta League Third Graders played the newly formed Grey Valley team at Mawh.eraiti, the game resulting in a win for the home team by 3 points to nil after a hard fought and even game. The try was scored by L. Jarvis. Mr-Bert Topp was referee.
