The vessel is due here to-mor-row night. 'the Kalingo sailed, last evening, With timber for Sydney and Newcastle. The Kaponga is due from Auckland, via New Plymouth, early to-morrow morning, and will load coal for 'Wellington. ' . The Kini has left Dunedin and Oamaru for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, Nelson, New Plymouth, Westport, and (jrcymouth, with general cargo. The Kaimiro arrived yesterday afternoon from Westport, to load coal for Auckland. She is scheduled to sail early to-morrow morning. The Alexander will leave Wellington on Tuesday next, and Nelson on Wednesday, for Westport and Greymoi|th, with general cargo. The vessel is due on Thursday night, and will load coal for Nelson. The Kalingo, which sailed last night for Sydney and Newcastle, carried 1,117,000 superficial feet of white pine timber. NORTHERN FIRTH WRECK. SYDNEY, March 10. The stranded freighter, Northern Firth, is breaking up. A portion of tho vessel has disappeared. The cargo is washing ashore and about 200 tons have been salved. STEAMER SWAMPED HOBART, March 11. The small steamer Lintrose, 'owned by the Huon Steamship Company, was swamped in a heavy sea, and sank, off the Derwent Lighthouse. The crew was saved.
