ALEXANDRA MINES. [special to “stab.”] REEFTON, November 9. Alexandra Mines’ report for week ending November 6: —No. 3 intermediate north: This drive has been driven 10ft, making the face 49ft north of rise and giving a stoping length on this block of 119 ft. The face shows stone nine feet six inches in width, with gold showing in the ore. No. 3 level north, position of face now 61ft north of crosscut, making the total on the block 29ft. The stone in the face is four feet six inches wide in the back, but narrows slightly towards the bottom of the drive.. Gold can be seen in the stone.
