BOWLING
WEST COAST CENTRE. At a meeting of the West Coast Bowling Centre, held last evening, Mr J. Ring presided, Messrs Benjamin (Hokitika), Mossop (Runanga). D. McKay (Reefton), and A. A. Adams (Secretary) being also present. It was resolved on the motion of Mr Benjamin, seconded by Mr McKay, that the meeting be treated as a continuation of the annual meeting commenced on February 11, but which failed to complete its business. Mr Ring was again elected President, Mr Adams secretary, and Mr Pearson auditor. The action of the Secretary in making application to the Council for permission to hold the Centre tournament at Greymouth on February », 1932, and following days, was approved. It was resolved that the tournament be held at Greymouth, any overflow of matches to be decided on the Runanga green. A further resolution was that the Tournament Committee consist of a delegate from each club, and in addition two members of the Greymouth Club, and the Secretary. On the motion of Mr Benjamin, seconded by Mr Mossop, it was decided that the letter from Buller district clubs in reference to their withrawal from the Centre be accepted in accordance with the decision of the executive of the New’ Zealand Bowling Association -Council. In regard-to- -the-question of revision of rules, it was resolved that the matter be held over until the next annual meeting, when it would be dealt with through a notice of motion.
