“THE WINGLE”
WOMEN’S HAIR STYLE [BY RADIO—SPECIAL TO PRESS ASSN.] • LONDON, November 5. The British Hairdressers’ Committee after consultations with millinery and fashion experts, has designed a new style of women’s hairdressing, which it is believed will be convenient, economic, novel and suitable for all occasions. The new style, superseding the bob, the shingle, and the bingle, is known as the “Wingle.” It is a combination of curls and waves, loose waves on the crown mingling with tight curls at the sides and l behind the ears. The length is a/compromise between the long curled style and the severe shingle, with drastic tapering at the nape of the neck. _
