N.S.W. STATE LOTTERY
POLICE RAID OFFICE. [BY CABLE —PBESS ASSN. —COPYRIGHT.] SYDNEY, November 5. Detectives to-day raided his office and arrested “Rufe” T. Naylor, in connection with the New South Wales State Lottery, and also three of his office staff. Naylor and the others were charged with being associated in a common gaming house. They were admitted to bail, and are to appear next Tuesday. Detectives are now investigating certain transactions relating to the sale of New South Wales Lottery tickets on the share principle- Naylor, according to the police, being the purchaser of about 900 tickets in each lottery.
