ALTAR TOMB COST £BOO. LONDON, September 20. The altar tomb at Cardington ovc/ the grave of the forty-eight victims Z>f the RlOl disastei’ will be completed early this week, and the removal of the builders’ hoardings will disclose the memorial to the public. / The memorial was designed by Prof. A. E. Richardson, of Lon/lon University. It provided out of public subscriptions raised by the Lord Lieutenant of Bedfordshire and the Mayor of Bedford. This fund totals about £l,lOO, and the balance will be used on behalf of the dependants of the men who lost their lives.
