JAPANESE MINERS
STRIKE MOVEMENT SPREADING. [BY CABLE —PRESS ASSN, —COPYRIGHT.] TOKIO, May 11. Labour troubles at the Kyushu! Collieries are rapidly spreading, and are growing worse. Two hundred miners, underground, have carried out a sixty-eight hours’ hunger strike. Yesterday three hundred miners stormed the Company’s offices, resisting the police, who were arresting the leaders. The iron work operatives are joining in the movement, thus indicating widespread industrial unrest.
