Carroll was cautioned for hitting low in. the third and fourth rounds, after which Richards faded out. KID BERG DEFEATED. CHICAGO, April 24. Canzoneri retained the lightweight championship of the world, knocking out Kid Berg, of England, in the third of a scheduled ten rounds fight.
