XTOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Grey County Council held on Thursday, the 31st day of July, 1930, the following resolution was passed, and will be submitted for confirmation at a special meeting of thel said Council to be held on THURSDAY, the 4th day of September, 1930, at noon, at the County Chambers, Greymouth: — In exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 122 of “The Counties Act, 1920,” and its amendments, and of ail other powers which it has, or has the right to exercise, the Grey County Council resolves by way of special order as follows: —■ “That for the purpose of lighting the streets and roads in the area of the Paroa Riding, between the Borough of Greymouth on the north, and Nelson Creek on the . south, which area is hereinafter described, a separate rate of onefifth pence in the £ be levied upon the rateable value of the rateable property within the boundaries of the area described and defined in the schedule hereunder, which area is within the Paroa Riding of the County of Grey. And that such separate rate shall be an annually recurring fate, leviable year by year, in accordance with and as provided by Section 2 of “The Counties Amendment Act, 1929.” THE SCHEDULE REFERRED TO All that portion of the Paroa Riding of the County of Grey, bounded on the north by the Southern Town Belt .of the Borough of Greymouth, on the west by the Tasman Sea, on the south by Nelson Creek, and on the East by Milton Road.
