XTOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Grey County Council, under the provisions of Section 51 of “The Rating Act, 1925,” and Section 120 of “The Counties Act, 1920,” and all other sections of the above-mentioned Acts and any amendments thereto empowering it so to do, will, at a meeting of the Council, to be held on THURSDAY, the fourth day of September, 1930, make and levy a GENERAL RATE of TWO PENCE THREE FARTHINGS in the pound -on the rateable value of all the rateable property appearing on the Valuation Rolls now in force within the Ridings of Cobden, Waipuna, Brunnerton, Nelson Creek, Marsden and Hohonu, County of Grey, for and in respect of the period commencing on the first day of April, 1930, and ending on the 31st day of March, 1931. The said rate shall be payable in one sum to the County Clerk at the County Council Chambers, Gresson Street, Greymouth, on the 18th day of September, 1130.
