Tho Kaponga was unable to leave this morning on account of the heavy seas on the bar. She may sail to-night if the bar permits. me Kanna is due here on Friday from New Plymouth, via Westport, to load coal and timber for Wellington and Miramar.

Tho Gabriella is due at Greymouth about the end- of July or early in August, to load timber for Sydney and Newcastle. Tho Kamona leaves Gisborne . on Monday for Greymouth The- Rata sails to-night with a full cargo of coal and poles for New Plymouth.

The Titoki sails to-night with a full cargo of coal for Wanganui. Tho Regulus sails to-night with a full cargo of coal for Onakaka. The Alexander is due to-night from Wellington, via Nelson and Westport, with general cargo. After discharge she loads coal for Wanganui. The Titoki returns -to Greymouth from Wanganui about Wednesday to load coal for Onakaka. Tho Alexander leaves Wellington on Tuesday for Nelson, Westport and Greymouth with general cargo. After discharge she will load coal for Wanganui.

NEW GOVERNMENT STEAMER. LONDON, July 24. Captain William Manning is taking out on July 31, the twin-sprew lighthouse general service tender Matai, built by Hawthorne, Leslie and Co., at Hedburr-on-Tyne for the New Zealand Government. The Matai is sailing via Panama, at the reduced speed of nine knots.

Sho is equipped with an echosounding machine, and wireless has been installed in the cabin for the Governor-General’s suite.
