MECCA OIL CASE
PIMENTEL ARRESTED

WELLINGTON, July 23
A further remand until next Wednesday, was granted by Mr E. Page, S.M., to-day in the case of Morton Parker Pimentel, aged 39 years, who is charged with obtaining £lOO from Phillip Percy Wimsett, by means of a false pretence concerning the Mecca Oil Agencies.
In applying for a remand, SubInspector Ward said that there were a number of othei’ charges pending, some of them involving over £lOOO.
