At the Australian Hockey Conference to-dav. it was decided to invite a. New Zealand hockey team to visit Australia next year.
’[’he hockey match for the Milligan Cup which was to have taken place vesterday was not played owing to the fact that Hokitika would not play unless Mr Rutland, of Hokitika, was to referee. The matter will be dealt with by the Hockey Association, and until their decision is announced the game will be indefinitely postponed.
