L. Riley (Auckland) is unable to make the Rugby League trip to Australia, and will be replaced by J. Dodds, the West Coast and South. Island five-eighth.
O’BRIEN’S PROGRESS. , [special to “star.”] AUCKLAND, June 17. The Hospital reports to-day that M. C. O’Brien (Nelson Creek) who met with a leg injury in the inter-island game on Saturday, "will be indisposed for at least three weeks. Nevertheless, hopes are expressed in League circles of sending him to Australia with the national side.
