STAND COLLAPSE
MANY ITALIANS INJURED

One hundred and twenty spectators were injured, twenty of them seriously, when a grandstand collapsed during a football match at which twenty thousand people were present. The accident, occurred when scores of aeroplanes wore returning from overhead. The spectators jumped up and waved their hands, in greeting to the planes. The result was that the stand collapsed, owing to the undue pressure.
