Crawford beat Stofani 6/4, 6/3, 6/2. The crowds’ sustained bellowing ot encouragement to the champion, Moipurgo added to Hopman’s difficulties. Such continued barracking was not encountered in any other count! J. Nevertheless, 1 lopman put up a magnificent fight, but Morpurgo was the superior player.. JAPAN WINNERS. PRAGUE, June 16. In Iho Davis Cup tie, Ohta (Japan) beat Kozeluh (Czocho-Slovakia) 7/4, 4/6, 6/4, 7/5. Harada and Abe (Japan) ' beat Kozeluh and Aendol (Czechoslovakia) 6/4, 7/5, 8/6, 7/5.
