SHOPKEEPER MURDERED
ARREST IN MELBOURNE

A week ago, John Taylor, aged sixty five, was murdered inside his small grocery shop in Karr Street, Fitzroy. Robery is believed to have been the motive, as it is understood that he possessed considerable wealth. The police have now arrested Arthur Skerrett, aged forty-eight, who has been remanded on a charge of murder.
