FIS HEREBY NOTIFIED that, whereas in the several districts named in the schedule the householders failed to elect a School Committee on the statutory date, or for some reason the recent election has been declared invalid, the Board uas fixed MONDAY, June 16, as the date on which FRESH MEETING is to be held in the main school, except at Sumner, where the place of meeting will be the Town Hall. If a school last year had an average attendance of 240 or more, nominations must be lodged with the Chairman of the School Committee not later than 8 p.m. on JUNE 9, otherwise verbal nominations may be taken at the meeting. If the number of nominations is less than the number of members required, those so nominated should be declared elected. The Board will then accept recommendations for filling the vacancies.
