Right as Every Maunga has returned home, and the effects of whatever happened him just prior to the Great Northern Steeplechase have now gone, and the Mountain Knight gelding appears as right as over.

Eased Up: Admiral Drake has been eased up for a, spell, and it. is reported that when ho again goes into training he will join up with the balance of Mr. F. Armstrong’s horses trained at Awapuni by Mrs. M'Donald. Mountain Heath: Did not pull up too well at the conclusion of tho Raukawa. Cup, and may not race again for three or four months. Ho has been a most unlucky horse for his present connections. Nukumai: Though Nukumai was entered for both tho Egmoat and Wanganui winter meetings last month, he did not siart. However, his name figures among [those engaged at the Hawlies' Bay winItcr meeting. Orazonc: Tho latest aspirant to the hurdling game is Orazone, who has been schooled recently at Hawcra. Tho Bisogne ma.ro is reported, to have shown considerable promise for a beginner and will, probably bo seen out. in hurdle races later on in the season.

Manly: Is duo to make his appearance as a hurdler at the Egmont-Wanganui Hunt meeting. This horse has a fairly good record on the flat and if he can jump he should win hurdle races.

Should Perform Well: Melissa performed well at Hawera and Wanganui, beating a good field of sprinters on the second day of the latter meeting. He has not raced since then, but is nominated for the EginontWanganui Hunt meeting, and if started in the Flying Handicap should again go well.
