FIRE AT CINEMA
28 KILLED—MANY INJURED [BY CABLE —PRESS ASSN. —COPYRIGHT.] (Recd. June 14, 11.30 a.m.) MOSCOW, June 13. A cinema holocaust occurred in a school at Kharkov, where a film was being shown to five hundred children and parents. The third floor became ignited and a panic followed. The crowd rushed the staircase which collapsed. Twenty-eight were burned or crushed to death, while many were injured.
