The Ashburton Trotting Club’s winter meeting is being held to-day. The weather is dull and raw, with the attendance large, and the track in good order. Results: — Trial Handicap TRIAL HANDICAP, li imles: (1) Old Country .. .. 1 (3) Glenville .. .. 2 (10) Princess Thea .. .. 3 All started. Won by two lengths; six lengths. Time 3.31 2-5.
