Sailed: Gabriella for Greymouth. PORT NELSON, May 7. Arrived, 5.5 p.m., May 6, Kaitoa, from Greymouth. SHIPPING NOTES. Th© Kamona is due to sail this evening with coal and poles for New Plymouth and Napier. The Kaituna is due to sail to-night with timber for Melbourne. The Kanna sailed yesterday afternoon with coal for Auckland. The Kahika arrived this morning from Wellington to load coal and timber for return.

The Kaimai leaves Gisborne to-day for Greymouth, via Wellington. The Gabriella is due during the week-end from Sydney direct to load timber for return.

The Titoki leaves Wellington to-day for Nelson, Westport and Greymouth with general cargo. After discharge sho will probably load coal for Onakaka and Wanganui.

The Orepuki leaves Onehunga today for Picton, Nelson, Westport and Greymouth with general cargo. Captain W. H. D. Gardner has joined the Kahika after holidays.

Mr. W. Cole recently rejoined the Kaituna as chief officer, after holidays, relieving Mr. S. A. Smith, who is transferring to the Kamona in a similar capacity, relieving Mr. J. J. Barnard for orders.

Mr. J. Dawson has been appointed chief officer of the Kaimiro in place of Mr. E. A. Buckingham, who is proceeding to Melbourne on holiday. Mr. A. Lang has joined the Kanna as chief engineer in place of Mr. Falconer.
