At Leicester heavy rain fell during the night, and in the morning. There was no play. The match has been abandoned.

Leicester’s bowling analysis: Shipman 0 for 59, Snary 1 for 89, Geary 4 for 85, Astill 0 for 99, Armstrong 0 for 27. The “Daily Telegraph” says: Bradman won every heart immediately by his confidence and his suggestion of immense physical strength. It may be debatable whether he is another Trumper, but he is a batsman of the highest degree.
